Retired Texas guy recently transplanted to SoCal. Looking to meet new people who enjoy similar things.
What are your favorite social events? E.g. beach volleyball, BBQ, hiking, etc..
Hiking trials, walking the beach, BBQ, dinners out, good wine, live music, dancing and having fun in general.

This was my first Meetup activity so I have nothing to compare it to... however it was very pleasant, nice friendly people and I had a good time.

Nathan James is one of my local favorites too, John. The last time I saw him perform was 3 weeks ago at a private college graduation party in Fallbrook. He was playing on washboard guitars and his footboard base had pickups for percussion.
