FSOCSE member Dan offered to give us an introduction to surfing class. When is it warm enough, or will we all need wetsuits? -

SUP, or Standup Paddle, for those new to the sport. Westwind Sailing offers classes for $40 for 90 min. with equipment included (I believe). Or, if you are game (like I've been a few times) just show up dockside at Baby Beach and you ... Read morecan rent a board/paddle/PFD for $20/hour or $35/1.5 hrs between 10am-2pm on Sat and Sun. They will give you very basic instruction and off you go!! I will organize as a meetup if at least 2 people like the idea.
