About Far South OC Social Events
Far South OC Social Events (FSOCSE) was founded in June 2009 by San Clemente resident Sri. When Sri joined Meetup, he became frustrated that most of the other Meetup groups held events further north, meaning 30+ miles of driving to events -- each way! Most of our events take place right here in beautiful South OC, because it's a great place to live and play! Join us!
Our group organizer is "Far South OC" -- not a real person, but a personae behind which stand the entire team of Assistant Organizers. We share the responsibility of keeping FSOCSE running smoothly, and always welcome your feedback and suggestions.
Most importantly, FSOCSE is by and for YOU -- our south OC neighbors! You can get involved. Check out our calendar of events and sign-up for something. Don't see what you want? Suggest an idea! And if you really want to get involved, volunteer to become an event organizer and you can schedule events, too!
